Spending Honeymoon In Las Vegas
Whether you have decided to get married and spend your honeymoon at Las Vegas or hold your wedding somewhere else and spend the honeymoon here, one thing remains the same: Las Vegas can provide you with a unique honeymoon experience incomparable to other places in the world.
While some offer long stretch of while sand beaches, romantic beach resorts, tropical sunset, great art museums, ancient canals and rivers, Las Vegas offers entertainment at its best. Untrue to the common impression that Las Vegas is only for gamblers, Las Vegas has more to offer.
Resorts and hotels have their own way of entertaining their visitors since unique attractions are available inside these buildings. The Bellagio Hotel, Mirage Hotel, Ceasar’s Palace, MGM Grand Hotel, Downtown Las Vegas particularly the Fremont Street Experience, Fountain Show, casinos, and restaurants, are some of the reasons why you should spend your honeymoon at Las Vegas.
Take note that Las Vegas is the top wedding destination in the country so expect that many hotels and resorts provide wedding packages as well as honeymoon packages. The place is prepared to accommodate couples who want to spend their first days as husband and wife.
Spending your honeymoon in Las Vegas could mean lots of things. For one, Las Vegas is considered Sin City or for some, the Gambling Capital of the World. While you may or may not try Las Vegas casinos out, the opportunity to experience how it feels to play at one of the tables in any of the casinos inside the City is like an apple right in front of your eyes only waiting for you to take the bite.
Taking away your attention to the casinos are foods and restaurants in all price ranges. Hotels and resorts have in house gourmet menus perfect for a romantic night for both of you. The streets of Las Vegas have all sorts of foods that are best while you are walking.
What a better way to see and feel Las Vegas than going out at night. Las Vegas has lots of nightspots waiting to be explored. These nightspots range from simple, formal to exotic.
Pampering yourself from the tiring day are health spas with various services. Pools and gardens are also available on some resorts and hotels in Las Vagas.
You can get all these and more if you decide to spend your honeymoon in Las Vegas.

How long is too long in Vegas for a honeymoon??
I want to go to Vegas for my honeymoon and want to spend 10 days relaxing in a spa environment and going out to shows and parties a bit. I want to be able to relax and take it easy and be pampered a bit!! Is ten days too long to spend in Vegas for this? Should I go someplace more outside of the strip and then commute to the city just to go out? Anyone know any good Spa hotels in Vegas?

If you don’t gamble, you will run out of things to do in Vegas. How many shows can you go see? I would prefer going somewhere that has a variety of things to do. Vegas is limited in what it has to offer.

I have been going to LV since 1967 and have not missed a year in the past 20 or so…I go out two or three times a year, usually for two weeks, sometimes only ten or eleven nights
…I don’t see how anyone could ever run out of things to do in LV…You couldn’t take in all the free entertainment/shows in ten days…
You could stay on the strip, just off the strip at one of the "locals" hotel/casinos, the Boulder Highway or in Henderson, none would be a bad choice…
Of course it’s all going to depend on your budget. Caesars Palace is my favorite, I think you could find everything you’re looking for there..The rooms/service/pool/spa are incredible…The Palace Tower rooms with a view of the pool area are my choice…
Luxor might be a good choice for you, I like the Pyramid over the tower even though the tower rooms are larger and newer…How often do you get the chance to sleep in an actual pyramid?…The Pyramid Spa Suites have a jacuzzi tub built up into the corner of the room, incredible view…Luxor is having a special on their rooms until the end of January-Promo Code-(PDNY1) .
I have not stayed at Mandalay Bay but it would be a nice choice for you and they also are having a special on their rooms…Buy two nights get the third free…Until the end of January…
If you’re planning a June wedding? Summer is a great time to go, room rates are lower in the summer…I would start checking around now, it does not hurt to hold something, as long as you book through the hotel you can always cancel if you find a better deal…
travel sites for rooms in LV
http://www.travelworm.com
http://www.i4vegas.com
http://www.vegas.com
check around, if you find a great price, see if the hotel will price match..
This is the best site for info on LV
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com under "VEGAS INFO" you can check out all the hotel/casinos – show – activities – Clubs/Bars – etc along with info/review/links on each…If you’ll go to the "LVA Forums" you can talk with one of the foremost experts..Just ask your question in "Vegas free for all" and title it "Spa question for Ken". His name is Ken Van Vechten and he’s known as Ken_2V on LVA…He’s an author "Neon Nuptials" and knows more about the LV spa scene than anyone I know…

Honestly, I couldn’t imagine going to Vegas for more than 5 days. Stay off the strip, it will just become too much for a long period of time.
